If Batman had a new boat made for him, it'd probably be this. And my guess is that it'd be a relatively easy job for Morgan Freeman to whip up. Under the hood is a pair of Mercury Marine V8 engines that have been turbo charged to the tune of 1350 horsepower each. Turbos were probably a good choice, as the extra top-end power is really needed to push this boat through the water. Superchargers would have produced a wider power band, but the turbos boost the top end to astronomical levels.
They also used a bunch of Corvette parts... and no, we're not talking about headers, body panels, suspension bits or shocks (why would a boat need shocks). No, they've taken the ZR1 steering wheel and mounted it in the cockpit! The also integrated the Corvette ZR1 glove box with an 8000 watt stereo, complete with an Apple TV and an iPod car adapter. All of the Corvette parts were purchased directly from a Chevy dealership, so you know they're OEM original parts.
So what would it cost to buy the Bat Boat? A cool $1.7 million bucks is the asking price, but this includes a pretty sick trailer to haul the boat around... considering this is an extra wide load, it's nice they threw that in. If you've got the extra cash laying around the house, head on over to OffShoreOnly.com to make a bid.

Now that the 2011 Acura TSX Sport Wagon is on the road, you've got to wonder how it stacks up to others cars like it and just how well it fits into the Acura family. First off, when a driver digs a modern wagon it's because they want a car with roomy options but do not want to sacrifice performance by going with a bulky model SUV or crossover. This ride should sate the urges for more space, and with a price around $35,000 it's definitely palatable. Add to that a 2.4-liter inline-4 engine, five-speed automatic gearbox, 201 horsepower at 7,000 rpm, 0-60 mph in 8.8 seconds and a combined city/highway ratio of 25 miles and you've got the makings for a nice little slice of driving heaven. Again, if you're into that sort of thing.

Mercedes-Benz recently announced plans to go electric with its SLS sports car. The announcement came at the North American International Auto Show to put the SLS AMG E-CELL into series production. The battery-electric drive super sports car generates 525 hp and 649 lb.-ft of torque. It's also emissions free and is capable of accelerating from zero to 100km/h in four seconds.

Here's a little more Lambo lovin' for you to drool over. Originally a concept car, the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento looks like it'll make the production lines. However, Lamborghini has remained tight-lipped on whether or not its Sant' Agata factory is close to rolling out this limited edition sports car. But before you begin to lose all hope know this—a German dealership has listed this sleek beast on its website for right around $2.63 M, but who's counting anyway? Um, if you have the duckets I highly suggest you make the investment.

Chevrolet has stacked up a grip of options for the 2011 Corvette. If you’re in the market for one as a buyer, rest assured you’ve got more control over selection and how your new Corvette will ultimately impact your bank account. Now, that’s not to say these hot rides aren’t pricey—they still are—but there’s definitely more of them to choose from in this upcoming year, and all ranging in performance and price. Whether you’ve been wondering if Chevy decided to update the navigation radio system to something more technologically savvy, or what’s up with changes to the Z06 model, the verdict is in for 2011 and the Corvette is still favorably flexing its American-made muscle. The Corvette exhaust note has been tuned to provide more growl at high RPM's, but still keep it tame at low idle. There are also a slew of Corvette accessories already on the market, some companies are already making Corvette superchargers to bolt on some serious horsepower gains. The kits run about $5K, but for those bucks, you get over 100 more ponies under the hood.
