Mercedes-Benz recently announced plans to go electric with its SLS sports car. The announcement came at the North American International Auto Show to put the SLS AMG E-CELL into series production. The battery-electric drive super sports car generates 525 hp and 649 lb.-ft of torque. It's also emissions free and is capable of accelerating from zero to 100km/h in four seconds.
