Brenda Priddy is up to her old tricks again. This time she had the boys at Aston Martin on the run and the 2012 DB9 square in her crosshairs.
This particular specimen was running about a racetrack, (identified by our intern as the Nurburgring, but we don’t believe him), completely undisguised and working up quite a lather.
Not much has changed from the old Dib-niner, save for some cosmetics of the front and rear fascia and a new air diffuser. Now all this begs the question; is it faster?

Just to prove that we’re not aristocratic supercar snobs here at the insider, we bring you a report on a car more relatable to the common man—the VW Beetle. Only this bug sports a not-so-common full-electric drivetrain, and it does the quarter in sub-12 second ETs.
Christened the Black Current, this home-made creation from across the pond boasts a 114 mph top speed through the traps, which for all intents and purposes is wicked fast. And best yet, it not only beat a Tesla Roadster, it did it on video. Here’s the proof.
Though not exactly new news (it was unveiled late last year), we finally have the official stats. Even better, we have video. And not just any video, it’s official video from the official officials at Bimmer. Plus, it’s shot at the Nurburgring, the official track for proving your manliness.
On to the stats: the new BMW M3 GTS boasts 444 hp, comes in upchuck orange, has a roll cage and a wing, and your kids are not invited (no rear seats).
With a pinch over 100 units made, there is no doubt that the McLaren F1 is one of the most desirable super cars to ever grace a rich guy’s x-mas list. With run-of-the-mill road models going for $2.5 million and up and rarer LM models going for $10 million, these coveted penis extenders usually end up in museums and private collections—so seeing one in real life a pretty rare occurrence.
But what about seeing 2, or 5, or 10 in one place—impossible you say? We thought so too, until we saw this: 21 real-deal McLaren F1s gathered together at the McLaren Headquarters. That’s better than 20% of every McLaren ever made. Blackjack!

The cars are, of course, the reason auto shows exist. But, the highlight of going to any auto show is actually the professional models hired to showcase the vendor booths.
Every auto show has ‘em, and our good buddies at Jalopnik always make a point of displaying the current crop of beauties in a wonderful pictorial layout. Enjoy the next 32 clicks of Beijing bliss!
